From its Hackney workshop, Big Little Projects has spent more than two decades designing and making bespoke furniture. We documented Josh Du Mond at work, alongside his workshop environment where ideas are shaped, tested and made by hand.
The approach
Rather than treating the workshop as a backdrop, we focused on the making itself: hands at work, timber in progress, worn tools and the character of a space built around craft. Photography and film move between wider views and quieter details, placing the maker at the centre and showing the judgement, precision and physical process behind each piece.
